This is something that I personally struggle with somedays. It seems like an easy solution: eat 27 cookies, run an extra mile. However, it is too good to be true. Yes, sweets are okay, but always in moderation. A good, balanced diet is the best way to see results. The cliche quote “food is fuel” is overused for a good reason. When you put good in, you’ll get good out. You’ll have more energy for your workouts and a quicker recovery time when you’re eating foods that aren’t loaded with sugar and deep fried.
