I would say I am pretty good at checking the “serving sides” on food labels, however I never pull out my measuring cups and physically measure out the 3/4 cups of goldfish or the honey roasted peanuts. This graph maps out our hands and gives a very good, and very practical, way for us to “measure” serving sizes. Also, these little snack baggies that have 1 cup, 3/4 cup, 1/2 cup, and 1/4 cup measured out, so you know exactly how much of you’re packing for lunch or on the go. Another good tip when it comes to portion control, or just snacking in general, is to not eat directly out of the bag or box because it is very easy to lose track of how much skinny pop you’re cramming into your mouth. Measure out a handful or two into a bowl, and enjoy your snack.
